Really REALLY quick read。 I had more expectations for this book, however at the same time I don’t know what is missing。 I think the author gave the healing the characters needed, I guess I just wanted more drama。

AgainAgain。。 she made me love atlas all over again as a character! I am also so glad that the book was more about lily and atlas relationship then Lily and her toxic ex husband。

I usually don’t like sequels。 They seemed forced and the plot lines tend to mirror the success of the original。 It Starts with Us is an exception。 I loved reading the continuation of Lily & Atlas’ story, each one with their own conflicts, but intertwined enough with one another。 Colleen Hoover does it again!

Lily, a new mom, recently divorced from her abusive husband, runs into Atlas, her first love, and they begin to reconnect。 However, the ex-husband is still co-parenting with Lily and dislikes Atlas。 He’s causing issues with Lily’s ability to move on。Sadly, after I got 33% into this novel, I realized It Starts With Us the second in a series。 The story of Lily and her ex are, apparently, the first novel。 I decided to forge ahead because I was actually enjoying learning about Lily’s past as this no Lily, a new mom, recently divorced from her abusive husband, runs into Atlas, her first love, and they begin to reconnect。 However, the ex-husband is still co-parenting with Lily and dislikes Atlas。 He’s causing issues with Lily’s ability to move on。Sadly, after I got 33% into this novel, I realized It Starts With Us the second in a series。 The story of Lily and her ex are, apparently, the first novel。 I decided to forge ahead because I was actually enjoying learning about Lily’s past as this novel’s story went on。 I hadn’t felt like I was really missing a prequel while reading it。 The revelations (to me) that were casually dropped along the way just felt like good story-crafting with more information parceled out the more I read。 And, honestly, I would probably not have gotten through the first novel if it detailed the abusive relationship between Lily and her ex。 This one definitely details some of the abuse that she (and her mother and Atlas) suffered at the hands of their abusers。 That was enough。It was a sweet romance built on a foundation of young love and acceptance and reconnection。 It’s also about perseverance and overcoming family trauma。 It was a cute story but definitely my least favorite of all the Colleen Hoover novels I’ve read。There were two narrators。 Olivia Song and Colin Donnell。 They were both good voice actors。 Sometimes Song’s matter-of-fact delivery felt cold and unemotional, though--especially when Lily was speaking as if she had a good grasp of her past abuse and her future plans。 Donnell’s acting performance was perfect—I really loved his tone。 I’ll give them an A- as a team。 。。。more

It doesn't have a big plot twist or even plot it just follows their adventure, and after reading the first book you just want peace for atlas and lily and that's what this book gives 。 No big drama or sadness ,just picking up the pieces and ending it happy。It gives closure 。(I will admit HATED the part where they mentioned tiktok ,If they just say the word and move on it would have been acceptable, BUT NO ,they commented on it in TWO PARAGRAPHS and they mentioned gen z a lot,and manga that has b It doesn't have a big plot twist or even plot it just follows their adventure, and after reading the first book you just want peace for atlas and lily and that's what this book gives 。 No big drama or sadness ,just picking up the pieces and ending it happy。It gives closure 。(I will admit HATED the part where they mentioned tiktok ,If they just say the word and move on it would have been acceptable, BUT NO ,they commented on it in TWO PARAGRAPHS and they mentioned gen z a lot,and manga that has been newly released ,but the author owns a lot of her success to tiktok and gen z so it makes sense 。CONCLUSION :read it for atlas and lily。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 This is a good continuation of It Ends with Us - storyline makes sense and has a lot of meaningful moments。 This book did not have the level of suspense and intrigue that the first book did, but was lighter and easier to read。 I do love a good happy ending too!

i love lily and atlas

I delayed reading this because I thought I might be disappointed since I loved the first book so much, but Colleen Hoover doesn’t disappoint! It took me 5 days to read because I absolutely didn’t want it to end! It’s such a beautiful story。 🐠 💕

4。5 ⭐️It was great seeing the evolution of Lily and Atlas’ relationship。 Seeing Lily escape her abusive relationship and stand up for herself with the help of Allysa and Marshall warmed my heart。

Some cute scenes sparked from the pure air of childhood romanceI appreciated the continuation of Lily's story post-divorce: gaining closure from her relationship alongside grappling her abusive ex's inevitable presence in her life。Sometimes, I felt like Lily and Atlas dwelled in their past romance and viewed their current relationship through the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia。 Some cute scenes sparked from the pure air of childhood romanceI appreciated the continuation of Lily's story post-divorce: gaining closure from her relationship alongside grappling her abusive ex's inevitable presence in her life。Sometimes, I felt like Lily and Atlas dwelled in their past romance and viewed their current relationship through the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia。 。。。more

Some people hated it but i really enjoyed this book。 I read it in like 4 days and I loved how josh was introduced and i’m so glad Altas and Lily were end game。 Honestly very pleased。

Sabina Frišová

I honestlly loved getting Atlas’s pov to get more in their past and in his feelings。 I loved this book。 It wasnt as “dramatic” or “traumatizing” as the first book but i loved it still! I even cried happy tears and that doesnt happen that often with me。 9/10 would recomend!

Sophie Van

Really good, it is less hectic then the first book out of the series, but even better

Prabhsneh

Well it is an amazing book。 A much needed part after it ends with us!! And it actually helped hey over from the trauma readers got after reading iewu。。。 Will definitely recommend!

Atlas I love you, 4/5 stars for my boy

Feya

I didn’t think I needed this book when I first started reading it, but now I need to know what happens as they grow old。 I adore Atlas ❤️ and I’m so glad I’ve got to know more about him and his life before Lily!

Zahra

After reading the books, I was trying to get my thoughts in a line。。What kind of love has Lilly and Atlas really have? Is it true passion and a love that a husband and wife should experience? Or is it because Lilly “saved” Atlas live when he never experienced love from a woman / mother? And after Lilly’s bad marriage-experience with Ryle she just feel safe with Atlas that could also be a very good friend to her?
